Talk about dementia careSUPPORT THAT FITS YOUR LIFE
When someone you love needs more support with their day, the small things matter. We help you find a caregiver who can learn their preferences, offer companionship, and help with the routines your family has agreed on.
Tell us about the routines that matter, preferred communication, times when help is most useful, and the assistance your family is seeking. Discuss supervision needs directly before the placement starts.
For Seattle families, start with the neighborhood, access to the home, and the hours when support would help most. Our contact address is on Seneca Street in Seattle.
We serve this area from our Seattle-based business. Caregiver availability depends on the requested schedule and the placement requirements; we do not maintain an office in every city.
FIND YOUR STARTING POINT
Start with the everyday help you need. We’ll talk through the details together.
Discuss the person’s preferred activities, favorite conversation topics, and how they like to spend time at home. These preferences help define the everyday support you are seeking; they are not a treatment plan.
Explore this supportIf nighttime assistance is part of the request, describe the hours, whether the caregiver must remain awake, and the agreed tasks. Do not assume a daytime placement also provides overnight coverage.
Explore this supportIf support is being arranged after a hospital stay, ask the discharge team to distinguish clinical services from everyday assistance. Discuss a start date and the household routines that need help.

A Seattle dementia-care inquiry can begin with practical information: the hours you are seeking, the everyday tasks that need assistance, and the routines your family hopes to preserve. You do not need to put a diagnosis or medical history into the website form to start a conversation.
Before agreeing to a placement, discuss the proposed caregiver’s experience with the tasks and level of supervision required. Make clear who is responsible for daily oversight, how the caregiver should reach the family, and which changes should be discussed with a healthcare professional. Do not assume that all caregivers have the same training or capabilities.
For the home in Seattle, confirm the neighborhood, entry arrangements, stairs or elevator access, and who will make the introduction. If relatives are coordinating remotely, agree on a main contact and the timing of routine updates. Veya handles hiring through its platform and caregiver payment; the family and placed caregiver communicate about daily supervision and the agreed plan.
The caregiver checks in with the agreed family contact and follows the household’s arrival arrangements. The person receiving support is included in the conversation according to their preferences and circumstances.
A visit might include companionship, preparation of an agreed meal, or help with a personal routine within the caregiver’s role. The actual tasks depend on the arrangement and the caregiver’s capabilities.
At the end of the visit, the caregiver shares agreed updates and confirms who is taking over. This is an illustrative routine, not a promise of particular tasks or a substitute for individualized clinical advice.
CLEAR EXPECTATIONS
The requested hours, overnight expectations, agreed responsibilities, and caregiver requirements all belong in the pricing conversation. Ask for the full quote, any minimum shift, separately charged fees, and cancellation terms. We have not published a verified dementia-care rate for Seattle. The scope and availability should be confirmed before you commit.

GOOD QUESTIONS
This page describes caregiver placements for non-medical support in a Seattle home. Veya does not offer residential facility accommodation through this service.
Discuss familiar activities, meal preferences, communication, and agreed tasks before starting. The family and caregiver should confirm what is appropriate within the caregiver’s role and capabilities. Clinical decisions remain with qualified healthcare professionals.
Describe the assistance and oversight required in the placement conversation, then document responsibilities in the agreement. Confirm that the proposed caregiver and schedule fit those requirements rather than relying on a service label alone.
Share your preference for continuity when you contact us. A recurring schedule and caregiver availability need to be confirmed; a particular caregiver cannot be guaranteed through this page.
We can discuss that request. Specify the hours, whether the caregiver must remain awake, expected assistance, and family handoffs so availability and responsibilities can be considered together.
A reassuring presence through the night, with support that fits your family’s evening and morning routines.
